I think the easiest way for this to be done would be for another dynamic group for the devices to go into with the applications assigned, they then come out of the group when ESP/Autopilot finishes but im not sure how to do that? We've told PMPC to update copy the assignments to the new application in intune, that's so we don't have to go in after X number of weeks to change to the new V manually.
IE Chrome, we handle those kind of updates through patch rings and SCCM so want it to only install the applications during provisioning. However when PMPC then pushes a new version of said app up to intune all devices enrolled via autopilot install the updated verison. We are starting our autopilot journey and use PMPC to push as many of our Default apps into intune as we can to save manual labour. We use PMPC to make our lives 10X easier with SCCM.
